What services does Mosaic Sexual Health Clinic provide?
Mosaic Sexual Health Clinic offers pregnancy services and low-cost STI testing and treatment for both men and women. We provide lab-quality pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, options consultations, and peer support in a confidential and respectful environment.
Whether you’re navigating a possible pregnancy or concerned about STI exposure, our team is here to help.
How do I know if I’m pregnant?
If you’re experiencing symptoms like a missed period, nausea, fatigue, or mood changes, a lab-quality pregnancy test is the first step. Because these symptoms can also be caused by stress or hormonal changes, testing is the most reliable way to know.
If your test is positive, an ultrasound is recommended. An ultrasound can visualize whether the pregnancy is located in the uterus, detect a fetal heartbeat, and estimate how far along you are. This information is important before making any pregnancy decision.
What are my options if I’m pregnant?
If your pregnancy is confirmed, you have three options: parenting, adoption, or abortion.
Mosaic does not perform or refer for abortions. However, we provide accurate information about each option so you can understand what to expect. If you’re considering abortion, your first step is a pre-abortion assessment.
Our team offers a non-judgmental space where you can talk through your questions and concerns before making a decision.
What support is available if I choose to parent?
If you’re thinking about parenting, Mosaic offers ongoing peer counseling, free material assistance, and connections to local community resources to help you prepare.
We can walk you through practical support options such as childcare assistance, housing referrals, and other available programs.
What STI testing do you offer?
We offer low-cost STI testing for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV, trichomonas, and bacterial vaginosis (for women). Some results are available during your appointment, while others return within 24–72 hours.
Treatment is available for certain infections at the clinic. If additional care is needed, we provide referrals to private physicians or the Leon County Health Department.
STI testing is important for your long-term reproductive health and is especially important if you are pregnant or considering an abortion procedure.
I’m still in school. What support is available?
Balancing school and an unexpected pregnancy can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re in high school or college, you may be wondering how this will affect your future.
Our team can provide information about your pregnancy options, connect you with community resources, and offer support as you think through practical concerns like housing and finances. You don’t have to navigate this alone.
Do I need an appointment?
Appointments are recommended but not required for every service. Walk-in appointments are available for pregnancy testing, but we recommend scheduling an appointment to receive dedicated time for us to serve you. To make a pregnancy testing appointment, you can call or text (850) 765-4955 or schedule an appointment online.
